Questions finance leaders ask us

Straight answers on UAE e-invoicing data readiness: what we do, what we do not do, and how we protect your data.

Our e-invoicing provider already validates invoices. Why do we need HelixLoom?

Your provider checks each invoice as it is sent and tells you why it failed. It does not clean the customer, supplier and item records behind those invoices. We fix that data once, before go-live, so fewer invoices fail in the first place.

Why not fix everything directly in our ERP?

You can, and we will tell you exactly what to change. But bulk changes to live accounting records carry risk, especially near year-end or an audit. Our Corrected Copy lets your provider use clean data while your books stay as they are. You change the ERP only where you decide it is necessary.

Do you need access to our accounting system?

No. We work from exports such as Excel or CSV files. We never ask for a login, and we never hold write access to your system.

Which accounting systems do you work with?

Any system that can export to Excel or CSV. That includes Tally Prime, Zoho Books, Odoo, SAP Business One, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and QuickBooks, and groups running several systems at once.

Where is our data processed, and who can see it?

Your files are processed in a secure, access-controlled environment. We sign a non-disclosure agreement and a data processing agreement before you share anything. Access is limited to the people working on your engagement. Your data is deleted at the end of the agreed retention period, and we confirm it in writing.

Do you give tax advice?

No. We provide data services. Decisions on VAT treatment stay with your company and its tax adviser, and every such decision is recorded in the Change Log.

Can you guarantee our invoices will be accepted?

No one can honestly promise that. We measure your data against the PINT AE rules, correct what can be corrected, and show you the evidence. Where your provider offers a test environment, we help your team prove the Corrected Copy with a test invoice sent through your provider.

We are below AED 50M. Is it too early to start?

You must appoint a provider by 31 March 2027 and go live on 1 July 2027. Cleaning master data takes weeks, and it is easier before go-live than after rejections start. An audit now tells you how much work lies ahead.

We are already live and invoices are being rejected. Can you help?

Yes. Our Rejection Rescue finds the cause behind each rejection, sets out the fastest fixes first and helps you stop them recurring.

How long does it take?

A Readiness Audit typically takes three to four weeks. A Starter Cleanup and Fix typically takes eight weeks. Larger scopes are scheduled in the proposal.

How much does it cost?

Every package is fixed price. We quote after a free 20-minute data review. See Services and Pricing for what each package includes.
